We open the day in Batubulan, where the Barong and Keris dance is performed every morning. The Barong - a lion-like guardian of good - faces the demon queen Rangda in an ancient battle of good against evil, set to a live gamelan orchestra and ending with entranced kris dancers. A dramatic, only-in-Bali way to start.

Kecak Fire Dance

We close the day with the Kecak - a circle of dozens of chanting men, no instruments, and a fire-lit retelling of the Ramayana as the sun goes down. Raw, powerful, and a fitting end to a full day of Balinese art and culture.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the price per person or per car?

Per car - one price covers up to 5 people, so a fuller car costs less per head. Groups of 6 or more simply take a second car. Only the Exclusive version adds a per-person part: the entrance tickets.

Are entrance tickets included?

Your choice, via the Standard / Exclusive toggle above. Standard keeps tickets out - you pay at each gate, only for the places you enter. Exclusive includes the tickets for the listed stops, so the whole day is prepaid.

How do I book and pay?

Pick your date, tap Book, and confirm on WhatsApp. A 10% deposit secures your car and driver; the balance is paid in cash or by transfer at the end of the tour. Guests staying at our villas skip the deposit entirely.

Which days does the Kecak run?

The Barong & Keris dance runs daily. The Ubud Kecak fire dance runs Tuesday and Sunday at 7 PM - on other dates, message us and we'll line up the best evening performance for your day.

What time do we get back?

After the Kecak ends - the show starts at 7 PM and runs about an hour, so you're back at your hotel around 9. The late afternoon leaves time to rest before the show.
