How a Day Tour Works Here
A private day tour is your own air-conditioned car, a local English-speaking driver-guide, and a themed route you're free to bend - linger, skip, swap, add. Pricing is per car for up to five people, so a family pays the same as a couple, and every price is shown upfront. On our tours you choose between Standard (car, petrol, crew - entrance tickets paid at each gate) and Exclusive (tickets for the listed stops included, whole day prepaid). Pick-up and drop-off are at your hotel or villa in the Ubud area, and a 10% deposit on WhatsApp locks the date.

Pacing a Week
The classic mistake is stacking big days back to back until the holiday needs a holiday. A rhythm that works: alternate one full tour day with one slow day (pool, town, massage, cafe), put sunrise trips early in the trip while jet lag is still waking you at 4 AM anyway, and keep the last day light. Private vs Group Tours, Honestly
Group coach tours exist and cost less per seat - if you're travelling solo on a tight budget, that maths is real. But the per-car pricing of a private tour changes the equation fast: from two people up, the gap narrows to little or nothing, and what you buy with it is the schedule. No waiting for thirty people to reboard, no fixed lunch stop, no skipping the viewpoint because the timetable says so. Our view is predictably biased; the arithmetic isn't.
Standard or Exclusive, Decided Simply
Every tour page carries the toggle, and the choice is less agonising than it looks. Pick Exclusive if you want the day fully prepaid - tickets handled, no wallet moments at the gates, the price you saw is the price it was. Pick Standard if you like keeping options open: you pay entrance fees only at the stops you actually enter, which suits selective sightseers and anyone who might skip a temple for a longer lunch. Families with children often land on Exclusive for the simplicity; couples who improvise tend toward Standard. There is no wrong answer - only a wallet-out day and a wallet-away day.
How Booking Actually Flows
The mechanics, so nothing surprises you: pick a tour and date, tap Book, and the conversation moves to WhatsApp, where we confirm the plan, the pick-up point, and the timing. A 10% deposit locks it in. The day before, you'll get your driver's details; on the morning, the car is at your hotel at the agreed time, and the balance is settled at the end of the day in cash or by transfer. Change of plans? Message us - dates move, stops swap, and multi-day guests reshuffle constantly. That flexibility is the point of private.
