Reaching the base of Sekumpul is a real trek - down and back up, around an hour each way, including a river crossing on foot. It's an adventure as much as a viewpoint, winding through jungle and village paths. A local trekking guide is required on site, and it helps to wear shoes you don't mind soaking.
